Uncle Tom has reached the Old World

Hello my faithful readers. Yes Yes, I know that it's been awhile since you've heard from your Uncle Tom, but I've just recently been granted access to the information super highway. I did want to share with you the above picture taken in the Yorkshire Dales in Northern England. My beloved wife Sugarduck took me up there to celebrate the day of my birth. We visited the town where "All Creatures Great and Small" was filmed for BBC in the 70's. The books were gifts from her for previous holidays and I must say that I have enjoyed reading them. The Dales themselves were gorgeous and I will have to share more pics when I have the time. We are planning a trip to Brussels this weekend so more adventures have begun for us. Know that your Uncle Tom misses all of you and I hope that you like the pictures.

Cheers!

Uncle Tom

I am still so excited for you two that I could scream!! I would move back to England in a heartbeat! How far are you from the Abbey Gardens?

It is about a five minute walk for us to get to the Abbey. So wonderful to be so close to that. We love going to the farmer's market on Saturdays for fresh vegetable and fruits. Actually we have an herb garden and a tomato plant on our deck. We had a fresh tomato the other day that just rocked! How are you guys doing?

We are good - even more jealous the more we learn! We were about the same distance, and miss the Saturday market so much! All I can say is Travel Travel Travel! Oh, and update often of course!! :D
